Security

New Horizons Charter Academy takes the safety of its students, faculty, and staff very seriously. The following security measures have been put into place:

• All entrances to the school are controlled by electronic gates.
• Security personnel are present at drop-off and pick-up times when the gates are kept open. At all other times, those wishing to visit the school must be identified and then “buzzed” onto campus. After signing in at the office and given a visitor badge, all guests are carefully monitored to assure that the school and the children are always safe.
• The parking lots are monitored by motion sensitive cameras, which are monitored overnight and can summon law enforcement if anything suspicious sets them off.
