Good Afternoon Everyone

LAUSD has announced closure of all of its schools for Monday, August 21. In his address, Superintendent Carvalho overstated the decisions of independent charter schools.

  • Charter schools on co-located campuses must close for tomorrow, in alignment with the District decisions.
  • I am in touch with District leadership directly and have asked the District for clarity for sole occupants: I recommend you plan for closure and will share information when I have it. 

New Horizons Charter Academy will close tomorrow.
